Introduction: The word sanctity comes from the original hebrew: “gadosh” in greek: “hagio” which means chosen by God. We are in God’s church because of that and when you are aware of it, you get to understand that everything changes giving place to sanctity.
Sanctity comes from The Lord, it isn’t our personal achievement which is exactly why we need to keep ourselves connected to Him… it isn’t the synonym of being a good person, though some have that idea about themselves –“I hurt nobody!” sort of life motto – and their motivations and thoughts go all around themselves and not God… they want to have possessions and are materialistic, The Maker is not the center of their lives and, in order to live in sanctity… He must be! So you will need to be wise and careful that what you do, think, say or feel honors His name.
Many believers say to love Him but within their minds all they do with their faith is the constant “maybe” declaration on their matters… “I hope He hears me” “maybe He will help me…” “I hope He will provide me…” etc. but the common sad denominator is selfish need which ends up frustrating faith, especially when the one thing they wish for doesn’t come to pass with their finances, health, etc.
See, the thing is that we have been chosen for something specific, we weren’t chosen to sit on a bench at church… we are to be a strong and solid family and entity, able to impress and transform our society and communities… we are to shake and cause an awakening throughout Nations and in the planet!
What’s the good of having huge churches if the places they’re in are still corrupted and unchanged… we are “salt for the earth” we are to change things around with the very essence of what we are… That is why the bible says that light is not to be hidden, but to be placed up high for all to see. We NEED sanctity in our lives because that’s where the transformation of our surrounding happens!
Too many Christians… too few saints! Politics can’t cause a transcendental transformation in a community … the faith and testimony of a church certainly does!… people of God fully committed to please Him! Sanctity has all to do with choosing the one thing God wants for us! It is also the constant presence of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, truth, purity, etc…. those should be your brand!
We weren’t called to get stuck in any way; if we are not honest about what we are and transparent… then we can’t move on and witness any breakthrough. God says that those who doubt can’t get anywhere… so we better do something about it! God’s attributes have all to do with identity… no matter how big or small a country may be it must be touched by the church and that church must be identified with The Savior. I can say I believe in Him but if my lifestyle is far from Him, if I’m ok with cheating and deceiving… if I have no problem with lies, hypocrisy and lack of commitment, then what that says is exactly the opposite and there is no identity in Jesus!
So when you face hardship and can’t find victory you need to recover your identity with Jesus who strengthens you and that way you will conquer. There are situations in life that feel like a tribulation rather than a problem and that have nothing to do with “how you see them”, titanic problems without a viable exit… the sure thing with those is that they will be used by satan to make you lose your identity with Jesus. Do remember: the devil respects nobody… but doesn’t bug those who are fully identified with Jesus… even though he will certainly try his evil best!
Sanctity helps us keep on track our identity with The Maker and somehow you will find a way out! It is a straight confrontation with God (Leviticus 20:7).
We can notice that:

Sanctity connects us with His wonders (Joshua 3:5): There are people who have known Jesus for years, others go to church… and their lives don’t show Him at all. The issue with them is lack of sanctification. See faith has very little use in that case, for it is will power what helps you stay on track. Joshua had an amazing faith… but still The Lord requested him and the people to sanctify in order to conquer.
Multiplying your ministry is wonderful; it is a miracle of God! When you decide your life will be for His glory, then His favor will come upon you and your ministry will grow… that is when health, family, prosperity and everything starts being restored… AFTER sanctification has started to become a lifestyle, starting with the way you speak. Back during Moses’ generation, people gossiped a lot… and paid for it too… While during Joshua’s they had learned not to practice such fool behavior, they learned to hush and obey… they decided to be sanctified and enter The Promised Land!

Sanctity moves us to give more fruit (John 15:2) Sanctification is a privilege for those who give fruit, for some such process is not even revealed and it’s evidenced in a barren life.

Sanctity takes us to enjoy His Presence (Hebrews 12:14) the bible warns that without sanctity nobody can see The Lord. Your prayer is stronger when you choose to be sanctified, and that is also when your marriage, your career, your family, your ministry … your life is stronger as well. God’s favor multiplies our results… new ideas, new challenges come our way and we are ready to rejoice in His presence!
