Scripture: Philippians 2:9-11
We have been learning how to talk to our Father in prayer and understood that time shouldn’t be limited for this activity. We learned that if we want our city being transformed then our prayer must be even more intense, and we know that God can hear us and believe in the power of the cross where Jesus paid the price of our iniquities.
This time we want to acknowledge:

2. the power of His name! Every time you declare something done in the name of Jesus… you are releasing His acting power over the very thing you claimed it upon. From now on your life won’t ever be the same, once the transformation in your life begins by the understanding of God’s power, Philippians 2:9-11 teaches:

The first “use” of Jesus’ name is being the most important name on earth and being above any title… in the history of humanity. It is in His name that everyone will kneel to adore. It is when we hear His name that we recognize the power behind it and understand the deepest meaning of love. We are to teach the wonder of His name to others and proclaim Him Savior and Lord.
When you use the name of Jesus the way you should, you release power in your life to make things happen and the devil will have to let go of the things that belong to you, like your health, finances, family, etc. you are given the authority to cast him out in the name of Jesus!
It is Jesus’ name the one everyone must respect and fear here on earth and under it, the demons must tremble when they hear His Mighty name, because HIS name is the one allowed and given the power for it. So don’t fear the hand of the devil, who cannot have any power in your life… no curse, no disease, no ruin, nothing handcrafted by the devil can touch you!
Believe that you have the power to cast the devil out, that you have the power to live an awesome life, because you have made Jesus’ name a part of your life, and the enemy will have to flee out of fear to Him.

We can only find salvation in His name! (Acts 4:11-12) we can only find salvation in Jesus for a fact… now… we don’t deserve it, we just receive it! and the point after that is the understanding that it is an undeserved gift that gives us the right to be called His children; we don’t have to wonder anymore about heaven and hell, we are certain that we’ve been saved for eternity, we know that we have been given a new life.
Now having this right and undeserved gift means responsibility for us… and a big one!
This is the more meaningful gift we can possess… especially because of its giver! We must repent from every evil action we’ve committed, we have to walk upon the salvation that was given to us, we must honor it and protect it to not risk losing it.
So don’t let anything discourage you, don’t let the enemy become a heavy weight on your shoulders and make you believe that desperation is the only path to take… don’t believe the devil’s lies anymore!
It is your decision: will you be ruled by the devil’s schemes o will you oppose him? Don’t you risk salvation and a glorious eternity for one moment of pleasure, passion, or happiness… be sanctified and sanctify His name with every action in your life. Honor Him and He will bring honor to you!
If you pray constantly and believe in His powerful name… no demon will be able to stand against you!

Everything is subject to His name (Mark 16:17-18) If we believe in His name we’ll be able to cast the devil out and we know we can have the manifestation of God’s power in our life, so that what we declare becomes a fact… those who are sick will be healed, and what we say will be done and moved as we say because of the name of Jesus activated through our words.
