WHERE TO GO FOR HELP
Scripture: Psalm 121; John 60:68

If we just knew the stories behind the walls… If we just knew what the shy smile of a child hides, or the nail biting habit we all despise… if we just knew why some people never goes into an elevator… what does an obnoxious laughter hides…

If we could rescue every abused child, senior citizen, vulnerable woman, homeless person, hurt man… if we could help… wouldn’t we?

If we just knew that those clothes, food, shoes, toys, medicine, stuff… would ensure the happiness of those we give them to… would we stop giving it?

Where to go when the situation seems to press on and there is no open door to exit through? How to deal with hardship and tribulation when it seems to never end and take the best of us?

Who will stretch out his/her hand to help us, teach us, guide us, and promote us? Why does it seem so easy for some and so hard for us? Why do bad people have good things?

I am sorry to say: I have no answers… but I know that the more we thirst for them the more The Lord will prepare the ambience for us to find them, even though they may not come in the way we expect them, so we’d do good keeping our eyes open for whenever the answer comes up.

One thing is clear… I know we can’t actually and “tangibly” TOUCH, SEE or HEAR God… but the bible reminds us that there is no one else to go to… my thought is: I’d rather go ten thousand times to The Lord even if His answer is not as pleasant to me as I’d want… because I KNOW He loves me… than to stand at the corner of my life living with a question mark and a stretched out hand that never finds the other side!
